Waukee Flo-Meter In-Field Certification


This Innovating In-Field Certification service is designed to meet ISO, CQI-9 or any other audit program requiring Waukee Flo-Meter certification. This service allows Waukee’s Flo-Meters to be certified on‐site. The Flo-Meter certification is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Waukee’s Certified Technicians will chart the actual flow for each Flo-Meter without the need for Flo-Meter removal, thereby minimizing process downtime.

Waukee Certified Technicians will:

  • Review Flo-Meter’s calibration and certification history as recorded in a Waukee database

  • Inspect and clean the Flo-Meter and recommend replacement parts if necessary

  • If a Flo-Meter requires repair:

Repair the Flo-Meter before Calibration. Note: only a limited number of spare parts will be available with Waukee's technicians

If the Flo-Meter cannot be repaired on-site, an appropriate recommendation will be made depending on the problem with the Flo-Meter.

  • Reassemble the Flo-Meter with new Flo-Meter oil

  • Make any Waukee-Tronic and Valve-Tronic/SAV adjustments if Flo-Meter is so equipped

  • Connect Waukee Engineering special traceable test metering instrumentation and chart actual flow rate

  • Re-verify any electronic setting

  • Follow-up with a written report on the Flo-Meter calibration

  • Record and archive the results on each Flo-meter in a Waukee database

Most importantly, be assured that your Flo-Meters are providing accurate and repeatable readings, thus improving process quality. Concurrently, independent Flo-Meter calibration should satisfy in-house calibration requirements and enhance passing of customer's quality assurance inspection/audit.
